As a saxophonist, I am on an never-ending search for ways to improve my playing. Over the years, through studying with numerous teachers, listening to recordings, watching videos, reading books, playing gigs, going to jam sessions and experimenting, I have gathered some ideas on the learning process which I would like to share in this section of my website. By putting the ideas I have learned in writing, one of the goals I hope to achieve is to improve my ability to explain to my students verbally how I learned to play and help them find their own way of learning.
I welcome feedbacks and suggestions since I strongly believe that in order to improve one needs to be able to identify his weaknesses and correct them one by one, and a lot of times other people are better at identifying your weaknesses then you can by yourself. As I continue to evolve as a musician, this section will continue to expand with my latest discoveries. I hope that others may also find these information useful in their own quests of learning.
